Sidney Council adopted the Vision 2020 Strategy Plan in 20009 and the Sidney Health Fair supports our goal to create the healthiest community in the world. Our Peninsula, with the help of events such as this, has become the place to be for health and wellness with expert health practitioners, easy access to local farmers, a wide range of shops with eco-friendly initiatives and a wealth of parks and beaches to explore.

The SIWC Health Fair provided Fresh Cup a great opportunity to showcase our
products last year to the community, along with the chance to explore more in-depth customer feedback. Through the collaborative spirit and fresh perspective we received, we were able to come away with some new ideas.

 The past three years participating in the Sidney Health Fair have been an amazing experience for our yoga studio in Sidney West. It has given us the opportunity to get out and meet the community of Sidney, introducing us to thousands of potential clients over the two day event.
Volunteering behind the scenes has helped us meet many business neighbors and friends also in the field of alternative healthcare from across the peninsula. Each year we are impressed by the growing crowds, the integrity and generosity of the sponsors and the awesome overall vibe and sense of community found at the fair.

 The Peninsula Yoga Centre has participated in the Sidney Integrated Wellness Community Health Fair since it began. It is a wonderfully vibrant and fun opportunity for the Peninsula Yoga Centre to let the larger community know that Iyengar Yoga is for Every Body.
Taking part in the SIWC Health Fair gives us a chance to be more visible in the community by demonstrating an Iyengar Yoga practice, distributing Peninsula Yoga Centre brochures and schedules and talking to people about Iyengar Yoga and the not for profit Peninsula Yoga Centre Society. It is also an opportunity to be a part of both the local and larger health and wellness communities, learn about other good health practices and meet the practitioners. The Peninsula Yoga Centre is looking forward to participating in the SIWC Heath Fair again in 2010.
