Sidney Integrated Wellness Community Society
Origins

The SIWC Society started in April of 2006 by Britta Frombach and Lindsey Firestone. It became a non-profit organization in September 2006 after an overwhelmingly positive response. The group began with the premise of joining wellness providers and practitioners within the communities of the Saanich Peninsula in order to serve its clientele “to create the healthiest community in the world,” which is the SIWC’s vision.

Congruent with its constitution, the SIWC is a network of practitioners and wellness providers, supporting and educating one another about the plethora of different professions and services. It offers a range of holistic and balanced information to educate the general public about health and wellness in all aspects.
