Origins

Who We Are
SIWC is a network of practitioners and wellness providers, supporting and educating one another about the plethora of different professions and services. It offers a range of holistic and balanced information to educate the general public about health and wellness in all aspects.

Where We Are
SIWC hosts monthly meetings where networking, discussion and education takes place. Each meeting includes a potluck-style gathering with a new topic of discussion each month. This occurs during the first Wednesday of each month at the Mary Winspear Centre.

What We Do
The group began with the premise of joining wellness providers and practitioners within the communities of the Saanich Peninsula in order to serve its clientele “to create the healthiest community in the world,” which is the SIWC’s vision.

Who Is Invited
The monthly meetings are in place for members and their guests only. However, the Health Fair hosted by SIWC each Spring is open to the public. The Health Fair is a tremendous opportunity for everyone to come and learn about alternative health.
